hurricane dennis made landfall this afternoon. taryon, barbara, rebekah and i went down to the water and took in the powerful wind and waves. it was freeing and inspiring.
hopefully the community won't incur too much damage from this storm. we're growing weary of hurricanes these days. i'm glad to get this in before the power goes out.
